Stiffa ® Stairs provide the optimum solution for access between levels. Tools and materials can be safely carried where as Ships ladders and Vertical ladders require both hands to climb.

The Building Regulations recommend a maximum pitch of 38 degrees and maximum step rise of 190mm, these parameters relate to safe access for the general public.

For industrial use where access is limited to authorised competent persons the pitch may be increased to between 38 and 45 degrees and the step rise to 220mm, this provides a more compact stair that is also comfortable to climb.

Straight flights should be limited to 16 risers

Intermediate Landing required for rises above 3500mm
