Access via a roof hatch presents significant risk when there are no handholds and the roof surface is uneven and slippery. An open hatch also presents a fall hazard to persons on that roof.
The Stiffa® Hatch Platform addresses those risks. The perimeter Guardrails provide secure handholds for the user and the high-grip GRP mini-mesh deck acts as an intermediate step between the hatch and the roof.
A one-way self-closing gate is placed at the most appropriate location onto the roof and once closed the fully guarded Platform protects persons from falling down the open hatch.
