Health and Safety Law

Under the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992, you have a legal duty to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the Health, Safety and Welfare of your employees.

This duty extends to persons engaged for the purpose of inspection, maintenance and repair of your building and associated plant and equipment.

You are required to assess and control risks in order to protect persons in their daily work making access to specific areas as safe as is practicable.

The HSE (Health and Safety Executive) recommend you install the safest practicable solution.
